About Coffee Stain Studios

Coffee Stain Studios is the largest team under the Coffee Stain brand, where our journey began back in 2010. After the full launch of Satisfactory 1.0—following a highly successful Early Access with over 6 million copies sold—we’re continuing to grow the game and expand to other platforms.

Micromanaging is not our style, so everyone needs to take responsibility over their own work. We want everyone to feel like they’re contributing to the end product and thrive towards always becoming better at what they do.

Role Description

Working with us, you will closely collaborate with all disciplines to ensure our game is currently working as best as it can and to ensure any future updates release to the public as stable as possible, as well as help build and organize a live bug tracker and backlog.

Satisfactory will also soon be available on Consoles so maintaining stability across multiple platforms will be a priority for the team that you will help achieve and maintain

You will be working closely every day with the rest of the development team so things will always be lively!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Testing and verification across multiple platforms (PC & Consoles)
• Testing and providing feedback on existing and upcoming features in a variety of areas from: functionality, stability, balancing, compatibility, QoL, optimization, certification, etc.
• Work alongside QA teammates and related disciplines to communicate every day about important issues and ongoing progress
• Composing routine bug reports and periodical stability reports (No quotas)
• Routinely verify existing bugs in order to keep an up to date backlog
• Assist our player community with consumer support related tasks and FAQ
• Assist with reading, gathering and verifying player reported issues and confirming them into properly documented bug reports
• Collaborating with other team members for bug database administration

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Interest in a QA Tester role for in-house Game development (In Person)
• Previously worked as a QA Tester or QA Related role in Game Development for 1~3 years
• Interest in QA as a dedicated long-term career path
• Fluency in English
• Has professional experience in PC/Console Games testing
• Proficiency using software of your preference to capture videos/screenshots to help identifying and documenting bugs
• Experience using administration tools as a bug tracker (Jira, etc.)
• Great communication skills

Qualifications that are a plus

• Experience with Satisfactory or other factory building games
• Having shipped at least one game in PC or Console
• Has experience with doing hands on Certification QA/Compliance QA for Consoles
• Experience using QA Automation tools
