About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Monetization Manager to lead the monetization strategy for our game, Welcome to Bloxburg, an award winning and top performing game on the Roblox platform where players can build and design their very own dream house, work various virtual jobs, hang out with friends, explore the city of Bloxburg, and more!

As a key member of the product team, you will play an essential role in enhancing the gaming experience and fostering long-term engagement with our community of players. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective monetization models, optimizing in-game economies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure that the game's monetization strategy is aligned with the game's overall vision and goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the monetization strategy for Welcome To Bloxburg.
• Advocate for data informed game development and LiveOps.
• Help to identify baseline game KPIs for an evolving free-to-play platform.
• Work with the game development team to ensure that the game's design and features support the monetization strategy.
• Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote the game's monetization features.
• Work with stakeholders to track and analyze the game's monetization performance.
• Identify and recommend new monetization opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in game monetization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management and / or data analysis, free-to-play mobile games and other consumer facing products.
  
• Expertise in free-to-play monetization features, live operations, and managing complex game ecosystems.
  
• Ability to advise game developers on data informed game design, live operations, and user acquisition.
  
• Business statistics knowledge: Know when to use and not to use data; able to translate product problems to analytics problems to product solutions; ability to set expectations, have hypotheses, interpret data in a meaningful and actionable way.
  
• Strong verbal & written communication skills. Able to articulate the “why” instead of just the “how” and “what” to ensure developers not only take action but apply takeaways for future features.
  
• Used game development experience to consult on how to shape positive player behavior.
  
• Passion for video games.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

About the position

• The position is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week.
• This role is could be remote or an on-site position in our office in Gothenburg (with some work-from-home flexibility).
